Abstract

1,140,953. Roof edging. K. GOBEL. 27 June, 1966 [25 June, 1965], No. 28620/66. Heading E1W. The edge 5 of a strip fixed to the roof sheeting 3 or of the roof sheeting,. is gripped in a box-like member 6 fixed, e.g., to a masonry wall 4, and having air holes 9 and 11 to allow ventilation of the space 10 between the roof sheeting and the roof proper, 1. The member 6 may have a separate clamping member 15 associated therewith, and various different shapes of these two .members are described, (Figs. 2-6, not shown). Alternatively, the edge of the strip may pass into a C-sectioned (Fig. 7) or round hole (Fig. 8) formed in a bead on the end of a flange of the member 6. The member 6 may have one, two, or no fixing flanges 8.
