Abstract
741,781. Watch bearings. COLOMB, H. Oct. 14, 1953 [Oct. 17, 1952], No. 28288/53. Class 12 (1). A bearing, particularly for watch pivots, comprises a pierced member 3 and an abutment member 6 held together in a recess in a support 1 by means of an annular elastic member 7 surrounding the member 6 and having two diametrically opposed inwardly directed projections 7a bearing against a flange 5a of the bezel of the member 6 and two outwardly directed fingers 7b which engage slots 9 in the wall of the support 1. The bezel 4 of the pierced member 3 has a flange with a frusto conical surface 4b which bears against a conical surface on the support 1. The bezel 5 is seated in a recess in the bezel 4. Recesses 10 are formed in the member 7 in which a tool may be inserted to rotate the member when assembling. In a modification the fingers 7b engage a groove 29, Fig. 5, in the wall of a housing 13. In another modification the pierced member 3 is arranged directly in the housing 1, Fig. 8, and the bezel 5 located in a shallow recess in the member 1. In a further modification the bezel 4, Fig. 9, has a collar 4d which is located centrally within a projection 1d formed at the edge of the recess.
