Abstract
581,096. Stud - and - socket fastenings. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION. Aug. 8, 1944, No. 15031. Convention date, Aug. 24, 1943. [Class 44] In a stud-and-socket fastener, the socket member 10 of which has resilient fingers 15, the stud member comprises a base part 20 having a bulbous head 21 and an integrally-formed annular ring 23 of inverted U-shape surrounding the head and providing a trough 24 to receive the fingers 15 of the socket member. The latter may be of known type formed with a trough 18 defined. by the sloping wall 17 against which the annular ring 23 of the stud member engages.
