[Also in Division F2] A fastener device for assembly in an aperture comprises a fastener part 2, Fig. 1, and an attaching part 7, Fig. 2, each of synthetic plastics, the fastener part having an outwardly tapered portion 4 to co-operate with resilient fingers 10 on the attaching part so as to spread them when the latter is forced over the fastener part in a recess, the fingers thus embedding themselves in the wall of the recess (as shown in Fig. 5). Any force tending to extract the fastener forces the securing fingers more firmly home. A flange 8 limits the inward movement of the part 7. A bulbous end on the fastener part engages spring fingers 15 on a second fastener part 12 secured by a similar part 7. The fasteners may secure a door of a cabinet.
