Abstract

737,232. Vehicle couplings. PURSER, W. E. Sept. 22, 1954 [Aug. 6, 1953], No. 21787/53. Class 103 (5). A coupling in which a bolt 8 may be inserted from above through lugs 5, 6 and an eye on a draw bar 7, is provided with a pivotable sprung arm 15 having a socket end 16. In operation the bolt is held in position by lifting and pivoting the arm 15 about its pin 13 so that the socket 16 may engage over the bolt head.
