728,615. Pulverulent-fuel cyclone furnaces. BABCOCK & WILCOX, Ltd. Feb. 23, 1953 [Feb. 23, 1952], No. 5042/53. Addition to 716,669. Class 51 (1). In a pulverulent fuel furnace of the type disclosed in Specification 716,669 and wherein a secondary furnace chamber receives the gases from the cyclone furnace chamber, the secondary chamber 22 extends outwardly of the main chamber 2, is formed with lower and upper boundaries respectively sloping upwardly away from and upwardly towards a rear wall 23 of the secondary chamber and is provided with a gas inlet in the front wall for the passage of gases from the cyclone furnace 15 and a gas outlet in the rear wall 23 leading to the main furnace chamber 2.
