Abstract

723,472. Valve amplifying circuits. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Sept. 10, 1953 [Sept. 10, 1952], No. 22760/52. Class 40 (6). In a D.C. valve voltmeter provided with feedback by means of a cathode resistor Rc there is also included a CR in series feedback circuit to damp transient input signals. In the Figure transient input signals at I are fed back through C and appear at the CR junction A in opposition to the input so that the output O is not effected. The value of the output O is dependent on the setting of the tapping on supply potentiometer P and the point of connection to the anode resistor Ra.
