821,531. Measuring instruments. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. April 13, 1956 [April 16, 1955; Jan. 31, 1956], No. 11328/56. Class 37. [Also in Group XL (c)] In a circuit for indicating the value of a D.C. voltage V on a meter M, two transistors A, B are connected with their emittercollector paths in series, a resistor 1 being arranged between the collector of transistor A and the emitter of transistor B so that the operating points of the transistors are stabilized (see Group XL (c)). The meter M is connected to a potential divider 9, 10 to compensate for the drift of the meter with varying supply voltages. A similar drift compensation may be obtained by connecting a resistor in series with the base connection of transistor B.
