Abstract

718,622. Two-part couplings. FALK, STADELMANN & CO.,' Ltd. Jan. 21, 1953, [Jan. 23, 1952.] No. 1825/52. Class 38 (1)] The pins 7 of a three-pin plug are secured in an insulating base plate 5, Figs. i and 3, by providing a pair of flats 8 on each pin which engage in slots 6 in the edge of the base plate, the pins being retained therein by a cover. 10, projections 11 on which enter two of the slots and bear on the pins therein and a thickened portion 12 of the wall of the cover bears on the earth pin in the other slot. In Fig. 4, slots 15 radiate from a central aperture 14 in the base plate 13, the pins 7 being held against the closed ends of the slots by an insulating block 14a fitting between the pins and being formed either as a part of the cover or as a separate member held in position by a screw securing the cover to the base plate.
