Abstract

717,174. Vibratory mechanism. CROUCHER, A. H., and COMPACTORS ENGINEERING. Ltd. Feb. 16, 1953 [Feb. 14. 1952], No. 3941/52. Class 80 (4) A vibratory device suitable for insertion in concrete for mixing and settling thereof comprises a casing 8 in which an unbalanced rotor 5, 7 of a fluid motor is rotated. The stator of the motor consist of a shaft 1 with four radial slots in which vanes 4 are mounted to co-operate with an eccentric bore of the rotor 5. Pressure fluid is supplied to the vane chambers from an inlet tube 3, through holes 3c, 5a and slots 5b, and exhausts through slots 5c and holes 5d to an outlet tube 10.
