Class 97(1) [Also in Groups XVI and XXXVIII] A photographic film is guided laterally by means of a guide member having a cylindrical surface which is so mounted that the axis of the cylinder may be inclined to both the longitudinal and transverse planes of the film. The guide member, Fig. 1, may comprise a rubber-surfaced roller 4 mounted to rotate about axes a-a, b-b. The inclination of the roller is adjusted by screws A, B, and screws may be provided to lock the roller in its adjusted position. In a modification, Fig. 4, the film may be guided by a member 10 eccentrically mounted on a spindle rotatable in its housing 9. The member 10 may be locked in its adjusted position by a nut 11. In a further modification, the roller or a lever supporting the roller may be carried by a bearing having the form of the member 10.
