Class 78 (4) The cross bars C joining the buckets A of the parent Specification are connected by links a<SP>1</SP> to a frame A' by which the grab is suspended, while the bracket B to which the closing links b<SP>1</SP> are pivoted slides'in guides a<SP>2</SP> forming part of the frame A<SP>1</SP> and secured to the cross bar C. The operating cylinder B' is carried at its lower end by the guides a<SP>2</SP> and is supported at its upper end by a transverse member B' joining the guides a<SP>2</SP> and forming a stop limiting the downward movement of the bracket B. The links a<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>1</SP> and the cross bar C are duplicated on opposite sides of the grab, and braces connect the links b<SP>1</SP> of each bucket.
