706,339. Brush-gear for dynamo-electric machines. SIEMENS - SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES. April 11, 1951 [July 28, 1950], No. 8469/51. Class 35 The oppositely movable brush groups of an A.C. commutator motor are attached to arms 2, 3 rotatable about but on opposite sides of the motor axis 1 and connected by links 7, 8 to operating arms. 5, 6 on the same side of their pivotal axis 4, so that when the operating arms are rotated together in the same direction, the brush groups move in opposite directions in the usual way. It is also described how the brush rockers are mounted on ball races concentric with the motor shaft.
