Abstract

703,199. Loudspeakers. WORDEN, J. Sept. 4, 1952 [Sept. 12, 1951], No. 21496/51. Class 40 (4) A corner cabinet for a single loudspeaker unit has three chambers A, B, C, the first two receiving radiation from the front of the diaphragm and the last from the back. The chambers A, B are formed from plywood and are exponential in shape, opening intc rectangular apertures in the front of the cabinet. The front of chamber C is closed by a free-edge grill mounted on the frame of the cabinet by vibration-deadening pads. The cabinet may be adapted to rectangular exterior form as shown in Fig. 7.
