Abstract

851,938. Loud-speakers; diaphragms. PHILCO. CORPORATION. Aug. 16, 1957 [Aug. 16, 1956; Aug. 29, 1956], No. 25921/57. Class 40 (4). A loud-speaker has a narrow substantially elliptical diaphragm so as to be able to reproduce a wide range of frequencies. It is suitable for installation to one side of the tube in a television receiver, Fig. 5, or behind the rear seat of a car, Fig. 6. The ends of the diaphragm may be shut off by baffles 47, Fig. 15.
