Class 52(2) A chair &c. is hinged about one or more of either its front or rear legs to the floor or other support so that it may be tilted bodily either forwardly or rearwardly: As shown a two-seated chair, having members 10, 11, 12 forming the back and rear legs and members. 18, 19, 20 forming the front legs, is hingedly mounted on a stepped floor by means of angle brackets 22 secured to the treads and risers of the floor tiers, the angle brackets 22 being provided with inwardly-directed pins 23 rotatably engaged in bearings 24 carried by the legs 18, 19. One or more of the seats may be arranged as tip-up seats.
