Abstract

699,600. Cabinets; racks. BROAD, C. S. Nov. 11, 1952. [June 25, 1952], No. 15978/52. 'Class 52(i) and 52(v) [Also in Group VI] A kitchen cabinet comprises a lower section 1 and an upper section 4 with an oper base by which it is in communication with the lower section through an opening 5 in the top of the lower section. Ventilators 3. 6 are provided in the lower and upper sections respectively to allow a free flow of air. A wirework shelf 10 is slidably mounted over the opening 5. Plate racks 12 are mounted in slideways 14 on the side walls of the upper compartment 4. The lower section 1 has a slidably mounted wire basket 17 beneath which is a sliding rod 18 to support saucepans 20 and the door is provided with a rack 21 for saucepan lids. Air heating means may be provided in the lower section 1. The superimposed sections may be built as part of a larger cabinet 22.
