Abstract

698,689. Rotary brushes. FRASER, R., and TUSON; V. H. Feb. 25, 1952 [Nov. 23, 1950], No. 28714/50. Class 19. A rotary brush more particularly for a carpet sweeper of the type described in Specification 698,189, comprises an axle 1, a pair of end discs 2 fixed to the axle and a plurality of bristle-carrying bars 7 extending between the discs and held by resilient radially extending arms 6 in slots in the periphery of the discs. Tubes 10 provided with bushes 11 are inserted in the axle and slots are provided to engage the driving means.
