Abstract

693,805. Cloches. POMFRET, W. L. J. Sept. 22, 1951, No. 22235/51. Class 20 (i). A cloche has two or more transverse frames for supporting side sheets of glass and end or intermediate transverse sheets, each frame comprising at least two horizontal members 4 separated by a vertical member 1, the members 4 having hooks 7, 8 to support the side sheets and 10, 11 to support the end or intermediate sheets. The members 1 have pins 2 which pass through central holes 3 in the members 4 which are made of two wires bound together at 5, the end of each wire being, formed into the hooks 7, 8. A wire 9 having the hooks 10. 11 fits onto the member 4 at 6. Wires 12, 13 having a screwed stud 14 form roof hangers, the wire 13 engaging a loop 15 in a roof clip when the roof sheets are in position, and the loop 16 in the clip engaging the wire 12 when. the roof sheets are swung separately about 15 to permit access to the plants. Vertical members 1 may be superimposed, the pin- 2 entering the member 1 below, to increase the height of the cloche.
