[Class 20(i)] A framework for a cloche comprises a pair of frame members 1 each formed from an endless wire bent to provide (i) two portions 10 in which the wire is doubled back on itself to provide guides for the side glass sheets of the cloche, (ii) a shallow V-shaped portion 7 to receive two top sheets and (iii) an inverted V portion 8 provided at the apex with an inverted U portion 9 to receive a connecting member 6 which also acts as a handle. The members 1 are also connected by a strip 5, bent downwardly in its middle part, which slightly separates the upper glass sheets to provide a slot through which rain water may enter the cloche. A hook 18 loosely depending from the handle 6 and having two parallel legs with outwardly bent lower ends is provided so that one or both of the upper glass panels may be held in a vertical position between the legs of the hook for ventilation or when watering, or alternatively both supported on the outwardly bent portions and on the parts 21 of the frame members 1 to provide an inverted V-shaped roof. The lower ends 11 of the frame members 1 are bent inwardly to provide supports for lower connecting members 4 having stops 12 for the side glass sheets which rest on them. In a modification the ends 11 of the frame members are bent outwardly and themselves provided with stops and the members 4 dispensed with. Also a washer at the base of each V portion 7 is used instead of the member 5 to form the slot between the upper glass sheets.
