Abstract

684,755. Dynamo-electric machines. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. March 4, 1949 [Aug. 17, 1948], No. 6004/49. Class 35. A machine for use as a signal generator has a single winding on one member and two windings of unequal angular span on the other member, one member being A.C. energized and a voltage proportional to displacement being induced in the winding(s) of the other member. As shown, A.C. is fed to the inner (movable) member and one stator winding embraces one pole and the other two poles. Poles may be omitted from the unwound part.
