Abstract

678,649. Glass. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd. Jan. 24, 1951, No. 1835/51. Addition to 615,593. Class 56. The glass of the parent Specification is modified by the introduction of up to 10 per cent by weight of lead oxide. The percentage of alkali metal oxide is somewhat reduced and the total percentage of divalent metal oxides (including the lead) somewhat increased. Specification 14031/46 (as open to inspection under Sect. 91) is referred to. The use of zinc oxide in the composition is disclaimed.
