678,517. Moulds for toy bricks &c. MIDDLETON, F. A. Aug. 17, 1950 [Aug. 26, 1949], No: 22171/49. Class 87(ii) A mould formed of flexible material such as rubber and having a number of recesses having flexible walls which can be flexed away from moulded toy bricks &c. to remove the latter, is characterized in that the wall of each individual mould 1a is separate and is formed of thin material and that the top of the walls of individual moulds are connected together by a web 2 forming the top of the mould. The mould may be slidably fitted into a frame 3 of wood &c. to prevent distortion. The mould may be made by dipping a former into latex or may be made by moulding compounded dry rubber in a press. The bricks &c. may be made from plaster of Paris. The mould may be designed to give a roughened or other surface for jointing or keying the bricks together.
