Abstract

673,708. Spray-producers; valves. NU-SWIFT, Ltd., and HENSHAW, T. A. Jan. 29, 1951 [Nov. 1, 1949], No. 27904/49. Classes 69 (iii) and 135. A nozzle b is held in its forward position by a spring g acting on a valve member b<SP>2</SP> engaging with a washer d. The nozzle end is closed by a screwed plug c with a reduced part c<SP>1</SP>, the latter extending to about midway of a series of inlets f. A manually operated pivoted lever h acts on a ring i to force the nozzle inwardly and to allow liquid to flow through the inlets f and strike the part c<SP>1</SP> before leaving the nozzle. With the nozzle in its innermost position parts of the liquid streams entering the inlets f impinge against one another to produce a spray.
