Abstract
A composition for use as a wall covering comprises an emulsion and a filler, the emulsion containing soft soap, linseed oil, oil varnish, turpentine oil and water and the filler containing chalk dust, marble powder, gypsum and fibrous material. The filler may comprise two parts to each part of emulsion. The composition may be prepared by boiling a mixture of water, soft soap, linseed oil and oil varnish and then adding the turpentine oil and finally the filler.
