Abstract
665,567. Hanging pictures; brackets. HANSSON, B. Sept. 27, 1949. [Sept. 30, 1948] No. 24819/49. Classes 52 (iv) and 52 (v). [Also in Group XXV] Picture and cable, &c. hooks are provided with a number of hook or hook supporting elements so that the hook may be supported at the top by an inclined nail and the picture &c. hung from the device at a select able height. A strip 1, Figs. 1 and 2, is formed at the sides with upwardly inclined lugs 4 that are bent up at right angles to the planes of the strip and twisted through ninety degrees to afford more space for the cord. The strip is formed at 2 to receive an inclined suspension nail 3. In a modification inclined slits are made in the body of the strip permitting portions to be bent outwards to form hooks. In another form a series of pockets 6, Fig. 7, are formed by embossing at transverse slits to receive detachable hooks 7 that may be bent round cables 8 that they support.
