Abstract
1,151,455. Wig hanger. W. T. PARTLETON & CO. Ltd. 8 April, 1968 [11 May, 1967], No. 21962/67. Heading A4Y. A wig hanger comprises an arcuate support for the wig, the support having means by which it can be suspended. The hanger may be formed from a single length of stout wire, bent into a pair of support members 1 which merge together at 2 where the doubled wire is bent into an upwardly inclined limb 4 to prevent the wig falling off. The elements converge at 3 where one end of the wire terminates, the other end extending into a bent limb 5 and 6 to terminate in a hook or eye 7. The elements may be covered with tape or fabric. Alternatively the arcuate support may be a curved band of plastics material provided at one end with suspension means similar to 5, 6 and 7.
