Abstract

A light-sensitive composition is prepared by ball-milling a mixture of lead sulphite, sodium hexametaphosphate, and water, adding a mixture of an aqueous gelatine solution and an aqueous acrylate resin dispersion (the resin being a copolymer of about 90 per cent polyethyl acrylate and 10 per cent polyacrylonitrile), continuing milling, adding ammonium dichromate solution, and further milling. The resin may also be polymethyl or polyethyl acrylate, polymethyl methacrylate, polyvinylidene chloride, polystyrene, or polyvinyl acetate.
