Abstract
662,694. Waterbars for use in concrete wall &c. construction. BRAY, T. J. June 15, 1950 [June 20, 1949], No. 16308/49. Class 20(ii) A waterbar for use in the casting of concrete walls or similar structures to prevent leakages of water at the junction of two separately cast layers or parts of the structure, comprises a bituminized steel strip 10 having along each of its opposite edges an offset V-shaped flange 11 adapted to bind the strip in the concrete and to facilitate interlocking of adjacent strips. A similar end flange 12 is also provided.
