[Class 87(i)] [Also in Group V] Concrete building blocks comprise inner and outer slabs 1, 11, joined by ribs 9 situated “ of the length of the block from each end thereof. The inner slab 11 may be dispensed with. The outer slab consists of a layer of waterproof concrete and a backing of foamed-slag concrete and may have a chamfered edge. 6. The ribs may contain a metal reinforcement in which case there may be a gap, bridged by the reinforcement, between the ends of the ribs and the block 11.
