659,374. Bed-settees. RIECANSKY, E. Oct. 4, 1949, No. 25472. [Class 52 (ii)] A bed-settee comprises a central tubular section 2 formed of U shape with the lateral arms bent upwardly and rearwardly as shown at 21. The rear section 3 is pivoted to the central section as shown and is formed of tubes embracirig a casing 11 having a lid 11<SP>1</SP> and suitable for the storing of bed clothes. The front section 1 comprises tubular lateral portions interconnected by transverse members 6 and pivoted to the central section 2. Each of the sections is provided with a separate spring mattress 4 and the end section 3 is adjustable as to inclination, &c. by means of a racked arm 8 and catch 9 the latter being arranged on the casing 11. A lever 14 is used to adjust the lid 11<SP>1</SP> of the casing when the device is in bed position.
