Abstract
658,352. Paper and like bags. CORRIGAN, J. S. April 21, 1949, No. 10581. [Class 94(ii)] [Also in Group XV] In an envelopeshaped bag, one of the walls is longer than the other and the extended portion of the longer wall is folded inwardly about a line 5 located approximately. midway of its length. The extended portion is provided with two or more lines 7 of adhesive adapted to form one or more pockets when the said portion is folded. The folded portion constitutes a closure flap for the bag. In a modification the front wall is provided with the extension which is folded upon itself to form said pocket or pockets, and the rear wall is provided with a closure flap. The bag may be heat-sealed along the lines 7, and said lines may run longitudinally or transversely of the bag.
