656,450. Sanitary closets. POWELL, G., and WEST, A. BOWEN-. Sept. 5,1949, No. 22928. [Class 26] A cover of the kind described in Specification 325,738, [CLass 26], for a sanitary closet seat consisting of a sheet of tissue such as paper has its elliptical centre portion attached at both ends by curved perforated parts and is also perforated across its centre to permit it to be separated into two sheets of toilet paper. As shown a sheet is formed with a portion 1 to fit the closet seat to which a central portion 2 is attached to the outer portion by perforations 4 and is also provided with perforating 5 across its centre so that the centre portion may be detached in two portions for use as two sheets of toilet paper. Between the perforations 4 the centre portion is severed from the outer portion by cuts 3. The sheets may be formed as, and readily removable from, a pad. The sheets may be medicated or waterproofed.
