1363225 Seat guards for sanitary closets N ST CLARE 13 July 1971 [16 April 1970] 18115/70 Heading E1C . A seat guard for a sanitary closet consists of a sheet 2 of 71b weight water soluble paper, preferably impregnated with an antiseptic compound, the sheet having a substantially ovoid-shaped flap 4 partially cut in it so that, after it has been laid on the closet seat the flap 4 is readily depressed to break connections 10 whereby the forward end of the flap drops down into the bowl, the rearward end of the flap remaining joined to the rest of the sheet 2 by a neck 8, so that the seat guard is easily flushed away after use. The antiseptic compound is preferably Cetrimide B.P. Solution 40%.
