650,526. Propellers. OFFICE NATIONAL D'ETUDES ET DE RECHERCHES AERONAUTIQUES (O.N.E.R.A.). Aug. 15, 1947, No. 21751/49. Convention date, May 15, 1944. Divided out of 650,460. [Classes 4 and 114] A propeller producing a force perpendicular to its axis, in addition to axial thrust, cornprises one or more pairs of aligned blades 1, 1a which are arranged to reciprocate in a casing 3 as the propeller revolves. As shown, reciprocation of the blades 1 is effected by a crank 14 integral with the driving shaft 15, the crank engaging an eccentric 13 freely rotatable in an annular member 12 to which the propeller blades are attached.
