Abstract

650,063. Siphon bottles. SPARKLETS, Ltd., and ROBERTS, C. W. Feb. 4, 1948, No. 3222. [Class 14(i)] In a siphon head 10 a valve plug 23 has an annular washer 25 to seal the spring chamber 24 against ingress of fluid, the discharge of fluid from the outlet 17 being regulated by the washer 21 normally urged by the spring 27 against the valve seating 22 formed on a screwed plug 18 which also supports the fluid delivery tube 20. A socket 36 is provided for reception of a capsule holder during charging. The outlet 17 may be lined with a tube of corrosion resistant material such as stainless steel, glass or ceramic ware. The head may be of die-cast metal or moulded plastic. Specification 633,237 is referred to.
