647,559. Cold and heat retaining vessels. FORD, F., and FORD, R. March 4, 1948, No. 6736. [Class 64(ii)] The double-walled heat-insulated lid G of a double-walled heat-insulated container with an upstanding peripheral flange C and an angularly arranged web D is secured to the container by two or more toggle means each comprising a bracket L to which is pivotally secured a lever N, to which is pivotally attached a framework O provided at its upper end with a hook P which engages in an annular recess in the lid.
