Abstract

646,322. Agricultural implements. SANDILANDS, T. D. Aug. 10, 1948, No, 21043. [Class 6(i)] A harrow for attachment to tractor power lift mechanim comprises an upper frame consisting of front and rear bars 4, 5 connected together at the ends by members 6 and three harrow units 8 spaced apart and suspended from the upper frame, each harrow unit consisting of a pair of tine supports 7 connected together in V formation and suspended from the upper frame. As shown, the front and rear tines are extended to bolt on the bars 4, 5, distance pieces 10, 12 being provided. Each outer unit is transversely adjustable on the bars 4; 5 and the width of the rear part of each unit is adjustable, holes 13 being provided for these purposes. The centre unit is provided with a vertically adjustable guiding device 20 comprising a vertical blade 19. A frame 15 mounted on the bars 4, 5 is adapted to be connected to the tractor power lift mechanism. The frame may be provided with vertically adjustable guiding wheels.
