641,489. Electric resonators. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Oct. 2, 1947, No. 26594. Convention date, Oct. 3, 1946. [Class 40 (viii)] [Also in Groups XL (a) and XL (c)] A magnetron is associated with a concentric line formed by members 61, 63 which is tuned by a plunger 67 operated by stud 69; this does not connect 61 and 63 but is purposely made " leaky " so that power may be taken past the flanges to external circuits by means not shown. The degree of " leakiness " may be varied by an additional plunger which may be moved relative to plunger 67 by means of stud 77.
