Abstract

637,679. Reciprocating pumps. EDWARDS BROS. (TIPPERS), Ltd., EDGE, J. R., and COSGROVE, J. Sept. 23, 1947, No. 25825. [Class 102(i)] In a reciprocating pump, a body 10 is bored to provide two cylinders 11, 12 and a bar is shaped to form two pistons 13, 14 and has a slot 20 in which operates a crank pin 19 to reciprocate the pistons. Liquid is fed to the orifice 24 and drawn through the bores 25, 26 and valves 27, 28 in the pistons and delivered through the valves 22. The bores 26 are extended at 29, 30 to permit the liquid to lubricate the pin 19 in the slot 20. Specifications 497,005, 597,690 and 600,298 are referred to.
