[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Sept. 1, 1947.] [Class 135] A radiator &c. valve comprises a plug i having an asteroid-shaped aperture m therethrough adapted to be shrouded by a sluice plate f, the plug being rotatable into alignment with the inlet k and outlet l of the valve through the plate f which extends into the plug and is actuated by a threaded spindle d. The spindle handle e is fitted with a depending pointer which engages an arcuate slot t in a valve flange rand indicates the position of the plug.
