[Class 3(i)] In a roller-blind indicator of the type having two or more pairs of blind-carrying rollers, the two sets of rollers 17 are each mounted on an axial driving shaft 7 and each roller has internal clutch means 20, 22 constructed so that the clutch members 20 on the shafts 7 are all arranged for limited independent movement about the shaft relative to the driving connection. The rollers are supported on bearings 13, 14, 16, the bearings 16 being carried by gear boxes 5 through which the shafts are driven, and the bearings 13, 14 being carried by plates 10, 15. Friction washers 18 are interposed between the roller flanges 19 and the plates 10, 15. Each driving shaft 4 is connected by pin-and-slot means 8, 9 to a sliding shaft 7 which carries a number of clutch members 20 axially fixed to the shaft by a screw 24, but having limited rotary movement relative to the shaft since the screw is contained in a slot 23. Each member 20 is centred by a spring 25 which is connected to a fixed collar 26 and each has teeth 21 which are tapered to a front and rear knife edge to facilitate engagement with similar teeth 22 on the roller. The members 20 are arranged so that only one pair of rollers is driven at a time. The sliding shafts 7 are moved by forks on a rock shaft 28 which in turn is connected by a lever 30 to a control element 31 on the driving handle shaft through a rod 29.
