[Class 45] [Also in Group X] A wire or rod reinforcement d for concrete is threaded through a divergent hole b in a plate a, positioned at each end of a mould f, the wire being threaded back through the hole to form a loop in which a length of bendable wire g is inserted. A number, e.g., four, holes b may be provided in each plate a to hold four wires, and the plates are drawn towards one or both ends of the mould f by a bolt or bolts e screwing into the hole c, the looped ends 'of the wires being thus drawn and wedged into the holes b. The anchor plates may be external to the mould.
