Abstract

Relates to a method of producing porous blocks wherein a mass of stone-forming composition in a mould is, after fermentation and while in a plastic state, divided to form the blocks. According to the invention the mould is of a depth corresponding to the greatest dimension (e.g. the length) of the stones to be formed, and the mass is sub-divided by sawing in two directions perpendicular to each other. Thus, the sawing may be effected by means of saws spaced according to the height and width of the blocks to be formed. Specification 599,731 is referred to.
