627,934. Paper and like bags; opening packages. WINGFOOT CORPORATION. Aug. 19, 1947, No. 23008. Convention date, Jan. 24. [Classes 94(i) and 94(ii)] A bag of rubber hydrochloride sealed across the mouth and having towards the contents of the bag a perforated seal is characterised by a sealed area somewhat further from the mouth of the bag than all or most of the perforated seal for protecting the latter from strains. As shown, the sealed area comprises two rectangular parts 6 which flank a perforated seal 9 extending along the sides of a sealed area 7. In a modification a line of perforations lies across a corner of the bag within an unsealed area at the side of the bag. In a further modification the perforated seal is interposed between two transverse sealed areas, the inner one of which does not extend to the edges of the bag.
