Abstract

622,310. Davits. MORLEY, W. E., ROUSE, W. C., and MOORE, W. G. Jan. 27, 1947, No. 2404. [Class 115] The davit pivots successively about pivots 13 and 14 during its outward movement, the transition from one to the other being controlled by a guide roller 19 engaging the surface 18 of the davit stand. The pivot 14 is connected to the pivot 13 by a link 12 which engages a stop 16 at the end of the first stage of movement. The stop 17 limits the outboard movement of the davit. Specification 595,791 is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
