Abstract
593,209. Davits. LINDHARDT, C. A. S. June 20, 1945, No. 15656. [Class 115] The outboard movement of the davit A is controlled by the boats fall which has formed in it a cross-pin engaging the recess J. The boat bracket E carries a chock L' which is allowed to fall when the davit starts to move outward. When the bracket engages the deck davit movement stop the cross-pin on the fall can then move clear of the davit head. The pawl P prevents accidental upward movement of the davit.
