619,784. Valve amplifying circuits. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. Dec. 17, 1946, No. 37153. Convention date, Aug. 4, 1943. [Class 40 (v)] A high-frequency amplifier comprises a valve with two or more cathode leads, one lead being resonated to the signal frequency by means of e series condenser 9, while the direct current passes through a second lead The second lead contains the bias resistance 10 which may be shunted with a condenser. With a directly-heated valve (Fig. 2, not shown), three cathode leads are employed.
