619.601. Wringing-machines. SUMMERSCALES. W. H. G., HOLMES, W., and HOLGATE, B. R., (trading as SUMMERSCALES' SONS, W. & S.). Dec. 16, 1946, No. 36967. [Class 138(ii)] [Also in Group XXIII] A clamp for clamping a wringing- machine to a table or support 1 comprises a U-shaped clamping member 2 and a U- shaped hinged member 3 adapted to support the machine either in its operative or non-operative position. The member 3, pivotally secured at 4 to a lug 7 on the member 2, has a slot 9 in the arm 8 and is provided with a bolt 5 or like means for securing the machine 6. In operative position of the machine, the members 2 and 3 overlap and are secured together by tightening a wing nut 12 on the clamping bolt 10. Holes may be provided in the clamp to accommodate studs in the base of the machine.
