Abstract
616,936. Coat collars. HAMMERSLEY, S. H. Sept. 24, 1946. No. 28489. [Class 141] The outer and under layers 2, i of a coat collar are formed of a single piece of material which is folded on the line 5, the fold forming the outer edge of the collar. Before folding, a layer of canvas cut on the bias is sewn to the part 1 and the latter is shrunk by ironing to curve the fold line. After folding, the two layers are secured togethe and again folded on the line 4, the part below this line constituting the stand of the collar.
